The 2021 F-150 has an impressive number of engines available and multiple drivetrains for your needs. The base engine on the Ford F-150 is a 3.3L that has six cylinders. The base engine's output is 290 for horsepower and 265 LB-FT for torque. Those wanting more power can upgrade to the next engine, which is a turbo 2.7L that also has six cylinders. More power comes with this engine, which produces an increase of up to 325 HP. A turbo V8 engine is the third engine available for the Ford. This V8 engine cranks out even more power at a maximum of 400 HP. Following that engine, if you want to stick with a gasoline engine, is a turbo V6 that cranks out the same amount in power but jumps to 500 LB-FT of torque. A diesel is offered that creates 250 HP, and you can select a hybrid powertrain as well with a top power output that reaches 430 HP and up to 570 LB-FT of torque.
The interior varies by trim for the 2021 Ford F-150. The first in the line, called the XL, gets vinyl flooring as a hardy standard feature. The entry-level trim has one zone of air conditioning. Its windows are manually operated. Carpeted floors come with the XLT, which is the second Ford F-150 trim in 2021. The XLT has more custom options for the driver and front passenger with lumbar adjustments. Power-operated windows and locks come with this trim. It also adds more safety equipment.
